Mirror Image

"Bloody Mary! Bloody Mary! Bloody Mary!" We have all heard the name before, and if we were lucky, we live to remember it. For some, this will not be the case. When a young girl befriends a strange woman who only appears to her in the mirror, her babysitter, Jason Nothen, becomes concerned with the urban legend. Upon bringing attention to the existence of the ghost, Jason involves not only himself, but many of his friends in a cat-and-mouse game for survival against a very powerful entity. When the wrath of Mary devastates a small Colorado town, the involvement of the police becomes a serious issue for the group of teenagers who brought on this destruction. Now possible suspects in a series of grisly murders, Jason and his friends have more to hide from than just a ghost whom nobody believes really exists. When all hope seems lost, the terror brought on by the evil ghost grabs the attention of a private investigator, Martin Winfield, who seems to know too much about the history behind the urban legend. Could this man be their only hope to live through such a horrific ordeal, or is he just hell-bent on discovering the truth behind Bloody Mary for his own purposes? When evil lurks in every reflection, where do you hide? Nowhere. When evil is after you with unrelenting rage, where do you run? Not to the police: they don't believe you.

About the Author

Dustin John Edward Falcon was born August 9, 1986 in Williston, North Dakota, where he currently resides with his 5-year-long girlfriend, Amber and his playful, yet evil cat, Digger. He enjoys ghost stories and urban legends, which ultimately led to his decision to write a book based on one (his only widely published work so far). He graduated high school in 2004 and attended Williston State College where he earned his Associate's Degree in 2007. During that time, he has held many jobs ranging from cashiering at Wal Mart to working in the oil field. He currently works as a blackjack dealer, while pursuing the next opportunity close to home. He enjoys spending time with his three brothers: Andrew, Jody, and Dan (the artist who illustrated the cover of Mirror Image) whenever possible. He has many interests, but that list would drag on-and-on, so we'll leave that out. Dustin wanted badly to write a book based on zombies one day, but since everybody and their mothers have already written a zombie book, that day may never come. However, Dustin is currently working to produce another novel, likely horror fiction like Mirror Image.
