Meet Chris. He is not your typical American teenager. He likes to read novels and detective books in his spare time, has only one friend, Joey, and he is painfully shy. Chris is in love with Joey’s sister, the beautiful Angela. He has been in love with her since the time they were kids, has not told her yet, but she knows. Angela’s mother Marie is the talk of the small town of Prescott Valley, Arizona. Marie is both strange and seemingly dangerous because every man she has ever dated has ended up dead. Whether Marie is a killer, living with a dark curse, or simply unlucky, the town’s people begin to wonder if Angela has inherited her mother’s everything as mysterious phenomena start happening wherever she is present. They say that love is blind and more so when it comes to Chris as he unwittingly is drawn into a bizarre world from where no one is promised to come out alive.
