This book is for the self, a mysterious concept of individualism and putting responsibility squarely on the shoulders of that said individual. As oneself is one of the few things, anyone has and can control without a shadow of a doubt, or so it seems. A long, judging finger people wave at those things they don’t like and want them fixed, rarely is that finger aimed at themselves. For who wants to be their own problem for themselves, the answer no one. No one wants to have to fix their own problems as that is hard. Due to the fact, we spend our lives dreaming, wishing of what could be, but never actually being that which we want, as we seamlessly don't will the change. It can be said that an easy life of little suffering and one where the want is fulfilled is the most desirable life. Eventually, within one’s own life, they will discover what it is they truly want and where they want to end up. It is the individual, that creature that can take itself to where it wants to go, or at least to the responsible ones. Within this book, I do my best to go over things of the self, so it can achieve that which it wants, and what it must suffer to get. This book can be split into two sections, the conscious and unconscious. As the name entails “The Lucid Dreamer”, it is the parts where he dreams that go over the self. Unlike in a traditional essay, I have written each in a representational allegory with a dash of epic poetry sprinkled in. As I believe it to be impossible to skim over a decent allegory and truly understand what it meant. Also, it adds life and feeling into what would have been an emotionless essay. Take your time and understand not only the words but the meaning and what they represent, as little is straightforward and fully exposed.
