He wrote a trilogy consisting of Date 1965 Modern Warfare, The House on the Borderland, and The Ghost Pirates. In The Ghost Pirates the reader never sees a clear picture of the Ghosts. The doomed ship is on its last voyage with the spirits of bygone buccaneers. The ship is slowly over run and eventually sinks to an unknown fate below the sea.
