Do You Believe In Witches?

During the hot last days of summer in 1521 an empire comes to an end and ancient evils are awakened as old and new world armies clash.   From the fall of the Aztec Imperial city of  Tenochtitlán, through the Spanish Inquisition, the Mexican Revolution and to the present day, a story of incredible love and ungodly horror unfolds.   A young man's struggle for his mind and a woman's will for freedom become intertwined as their paths cross and they fall hopelessly in love.  One will slowly be destroyed while the other begins anew. It is their fate to become the chess pieces of God and the Demons who eternally war with one another.   The Story takes the reader across the historical landscape of Mexico, into the mysticism and the passionate romance of a culture which is, at times, the unruly infant of a Christian father and Aztec mother.  It brutally frightens to the core while sparking memories of that one first true love we have all had in our youths.   As you follow Amancio and Lilith's story, it begs one to answer the question; "Do you believe in witches?"
