Lynaly Hylin, a conscripted soldier in the Weizel Imperial Military, is one of only two survivors after her infiltration unit encounters a mysterious evil which murders the rest and forces her to fight for her life; an event which has her turn her back on the empire and seek her freedom beyond it's borders. To do that, she will have to navigate the massive island of Tesan, and find a way back to the mainland. She is unfamiliar with this foreign territory, and to make matters worse, she is lost in Tesan's Great Forest: a veritable never-ending sea of trees of which many have never returned. She is low on supplies, and it's possible that others may be looking to capture her for Weizel doesn't take lightly to deserters. Her real fight begins now and this is her tale.
