You have never been able to figure out how these devices work. There must be some mechanism within the cages for raising and lowering the weights, but what? What happens when the weight is lowered? If it hits the ground, will it shatter, or just bounce back up into the air, landing somewhere else in the room? And if so, where? This is very puzzling. Whatever happened here, it wasn't long ago. But it seems the mechanisms are still intact. Perhaps someone knows how it works.You look around the room, trying to find any signs of activity. No movement anywhere. The only sound is the chirping of the bird in its cage above.What do you see?
