The werewolf was captured and Charlie is trying to recover from her wounds and the guilt she feels from her mother's murder. She knows the Beast will be working on an escape plan and that she will be his first order of business once he gains his freedom. Her Lycanthrope family will protect her but she knows her survival will be dependent on her facing and defeating the werewolf again. Charlie's maternal grandfather comes to live with her bringing his younger brother around for frequent and long visits. A strong family alliance is formed between the two older men and Charlie. Along with the help from her friends and family, Charlie will again be pursued by the brutal Beast who is intent on ripping her apart but will everyone's planning and efforts be enough to save her. Once the Beast is free, he is intent on killing Charlie before he leaves Pine View to start his life over in another town. His need to destroy the child is consuming Rich's mind as the Beast desires her death almost more than his own survival. He's in a constant battle for control of his mind and body with the Beast lurking just below the surface.
