About the Author

I am currently living in my home state of Ohio, but much prefer to make writing a virtual vacation by setting my novels elsewhere, mainly in places where I have had great vacations. I have five books in the Will Nickerson Mysteries series published so far, with a new one in the works. Mrs. Treaster's Bed & Breakfast, which is not a part of my whodunit series, represents a new venture for me, being my first effort at a ghostly horror story. I literally dreamed up the idea a few years ago when I had a nightmare about a stay in a haunted B&B inn located somewhere in Pennsylvania's Allegheny Mountains region-and I got to thinking why not develop it into a book? It seemed like a perfect idea either for a long short story or a short novel, and since I'm a novel guy rather than a short story guy, I decided to do it as a short and fast reading novel. In addition to fiction writing, I am a small businessman and part time sheep shearer and plan to go into farming and agritourism as future goals. I enjoy hiking, cycling, horseback riding, swimming, sailing, photography, reading, gourmet cooking, foreign languages and travel, to name just a few of my interests. I have traveled extensively in the US and Canada and have visited Australia, New Zealand and six European countries. And yes, I am a firm believer in ghosts, especially after capturing what I believe to be a ghostly orb in a photograph I took in a rural Ohio cemetery.
