Freelance journalist Nathan Carr is investigating the routine case of a loan shark menacing a family when he is sent a mysterious and sinister video. He suspects that he is being watched and followed, and starts to question if both his case and the video are connected. The video footage leads him into a dangerous web of murder and dark intrigue, where he discovers the existence of intricate conspiracies, police corruption, occult secret societies and arcane cults. Soon the repercussions of his investigations begin to strike close to home...

About the Author

Steven Mace is a writer of horror, thriller, fantasy and speculative fiction. He is based in London. He self-published his first three books: Copper Moon Rising (a fantasy/SF novel), The Pirate Princess (YA fantasy adventure novella) and Beyond Twilight (collection of short stories written between 2001-2010) in 2010. He has since self published two further collections of short stories, The Splendour of Shadows, in 2011 and Echoes and Exiles in 2015. He has published short stories and flash fiction in magazines and websites and has recently been working on further novels. He published his latest novel Staccato House in December 2015.
