When Diane Oliver’s husband and son go missing during a fishing trip, John Lacy, a detective and World War One veteran is hired for the case. His search leads him to a peculiar island called “The Devil’s Shield”, which is run by a man known only as “The White Horse.”. A terrible secret hides on the island and nothing is as it seems. The people are unusual and his shellshock(PTSD) has never been more active. He must trust his wits in order to overcome his delusions and bring the Oliver boys home.
