Xa'Eliya: The Girl with the Scarlet Eyes

In a horror and dark fantasy world... A little girl lay with closed eyes surrounded by snow. Just six years old she was. No sound to hear in the dead winter. She did not feel the cold; something seemed to keep her warm. A man named Einar from the nearby village took her in, not knowing what he got himself into. He lived in a small mining village in front of the great castle Eiswind – isolated from the outside world, deep in the heart of the ice continent, Frostmaar. Surrounded and protected by mountains against that what lurked behind them. Even though Xaeliya was too beautiful to originate from such a harsh world, there was something else special about her, something that differed her from all humans, scarlet red eyes.In Eiswind, magic was forbidden, what they considered to be witchcraft, and everybody who was born with this talent was abducted to the castle and never seen again. It was a death sentence. People said that in the past, a few Magic-born used it for their atrocities. This, the villagers, would not let happen again. Because of her unique eyes, Xaeliya had an incomparably difficult life. Even though they could not find any magic on her, she was treated, because of her eyes as an abomination, a monster. Under the pressure of the village, her adoptive parents became colder until they started to despise her too. Therefore, she had no childhood, nobody who wanted to deal with her, no love and Xaeliya became lonely. As if the hunger and the cold were not bad enough, she spent twelve years hated in loneliness alone in her room with only herself as a friend. First, she blamed herself, for years, until the hate for the villagers began to fester. All of a sudden, something awakened inside her...
