About the Author

Born and raised in Idaho, Rose Summers moved to the greenery of Oregon at age thirteen, receiving her first computer shortly after--the outlet she needed to express her infinite imagination to its fullest potential while deepening her love of all things fantasy. Home schooled, she taught herself how to type within a year's time and had completed what she would consider her first, first draft; a feat some take for granted.After writing for a few years with half-baked ideas and unfinished drafts, she started what would become her first completed novel, Immortal Requiem. A single story that flourished and became so vast she decided to pursue a series from the world she had created--The Silent Ballad Series.While other series are on the horizon, The Silent Ballad Series takes precedence--between her day job at the local plywood mill and finding time for her fiancé and their child, Rose Summers spends her free time writing or drawing inspiration from various media outlets.
