About the Author

The author graduated in English and Drama from the University of Kwa Zulu, South Africa, then worked as an advertising copywriter in Johannesburg and London, before becoming a full-time writer. Her children's books have been translated into more than 30 languages. She has also written poetry, script and the lyrics for family musicals.
