October ??, 2031 Dear diary, As you already know you have become my only safe place, the only place where I can be left alone with my thoughts. Soon though I fear that even you will be lost to me. Between the F.B.I. witch hunters and the unspeakable wrath of my mother, life, as I know it will soon come to an end. I can’t hide in these caverns forever. Nor can I continue to allow Ms. Litha to put her own life in jeopardy for me, let alone the lives of her coven. Ten years now they have called these caves their home. Two years they’ve been hiding me at more risk than I can possibly make clear to them. The burnings will continue, and the only hope I have left is that the FBI finds me first. For if my mother finds this place, there will be neither lie nor spell that can save us.
