A string of grisly murders threaten the inhabitants and visitors to The French Quarter. As the terror spreads, it gets the attention of Nicholas Axminster a private investigator who calls New Orleans home. Axminster lives by a code that has served him for nearly ten thousand years, his entire existence as a vampire. A regular fixture in the French Quarter, he has protected the area for many years, and now he has to step out of his role as private investigator and once again be the avenging angel for the inhabitants and visitors to the Big Easy. His girlfriend Marie Delacourt joins with him in something other than their carnal adventures, and helps him hunt down and kill the serial killer that is stalking their friends visitors.
