Night Terrors

Dublin, a city full of colourful characters with all the hustle and bustle of a twenty-first-century city. Were people strive to survive, to earn a living, pushing themselves to the limit, some until they break, and then, there’s Dave. Dave is your ordinary, lazy, nineteen-year-old teenager who is used to life being handed to him on a silver platter. His comfy existence brought to a screeching halt when he falls asleep, awaking to find himself alone in a deserted, dark city. But he is not completely alone. Strange creatures lurk in the dark, watching him. What are these creatures? Are they the remnants of a once vibrant and bustling city? Why is Dave the only person left? All Dave wants is to go home. So he must venture out into a desolate Dublin and travel from deserted tower blocks to crumbling hospitals. Into the furthest reaches of a dead city were serial killers roam, innocence is lost, and were he must face an evil that is contained deep within all of us.

PROLOGUESLAM! Lock thedoor, lock the door, lock the fucking door, CLICK! At least I'm safe...for nowanyway. AW CRAP! I can hear them searching the corridors. They've caught upwith me. I can't stay here long. What the fuck are those things? What am Igoing to do? I don't even know where I am and it's been hours, maybe even dayssince I've seen anyone else alive. About the Author

I grew up in dear old Dublin Ireland, through its rise and fall I've survived it all. Which incidentally has given me a lot of inspiration for my novels. Even though I've spent the last few years out of the city and in the garden county of Ireland, that's county Wicklow by the way. The stench of city living still lingers and penetrates the very pores of the pages of my novels, but in a good way.I am influenced by many different things but what really got my imagination going from a very young age was the galaxy's greatest British comic called 2000AD, to which I whiled away my adolescence by reading prog after prog.
