He didn’t know that he was dead. So she shot him.The jungle - Vietnam or the inner city - one as bad as the other.Kelly, an attractive female Army veteran of the Vietnam era, is sent to find and help homeless veterans get back on their feet by a party who wishes to remain anonymous. She finds such a group of vets, and after gaining their trust, puts them to work restoring an old building that will house a new business for them to run. A veteran named Sam seems to recall seeing her before, but can’t remember where.Sensing his talents, she puts Sam in charge of the project, hinting there might be special plans in store for him. But this frustrates Sam, as she isn’t in a position to reveal just what might happen for him - or to him. There are other things happening for these veterans - good as well as terrifying – things they could never imagine, even as hardened war veterans. And maybe there is a chance they are finally going home. But first they will have to discover WHERE home is, and even WHAT home is, and how Kelly plays a very important role in their quest to find out. The answers are not what they’d expect.
