When It Leaves

Playing in the leaves is something all children do; twins Steven and K.C. are no different. One autumn evening the five year olds ask to go out and play until dinner is ready. What happens that night will haunt Steven for the next twenty years. Nightmares return every autumn to remind him of what happened and what he saw. Now on the night of Steven’s twenty-fifth birthday, his thoughts are on the brother he lost so long ago. While crossing the yard the nightmare becomes a reality…with his young daughter caught in a frightening struggle. Can he stop history from repeating itself?

About the Author

Savannah Rayne is a fun-loving Midwestern girl with a weakness for coffee, chocolate, antiques, and anything Christmas. She loves reading, listening to music, scrapbooking/card making, or decorating with a country themed finesse. She also has a quirky sense of humor, enabling her to see the funnier side of life. At the age of forty-eight, publishing her first book was a happy unexpected surprise and she is excited to share her creepy tales and romantic stories with you. Her characters can be classy, sassy and in search of love and adventure, or a scary phenomenon that leaves you sleeping with the lights on. She now has several published books and many more in the works. When Savannah isn't tracking down her latest find at a thrift store or rummage sale, you can find her drinking a cup of coffee while enjoying time in the north woods with her family and friends...especially her grandson.
