Lost in the Woods (Northwoods)

Is Sasquatch Real? Free lance writer Tess and her mate Kicky, now both adopted by Clyde, the Ojibwa Casino owner, have a newly acquired RV and a driver, Tessa’s adopted brother Ondag. Their kinsman, Luca warned them not to hike at night, telling campfire stories about the elusive Sasquatch. But while hiking through the forests of Northern Minnesota in broad daylight they mysteriously lose consciousness. Tess awakens to the terrible knowledge that Kicky is missing. Kicky awakens to his own nightmare shared by a little girl with whom he bonds. Trapped in his wolf form he finds he can communicate psychically with his captors, but he is being blocked from changing to his human form or from calling out to his mate. Fearing that Tess is dead, he must learn what he can from his these people and gain their trust and that of his fellow captive. But the rest of the world isn’t ready to deal with the certain knowledge that these creatures exist and that they do indeed live just outside our narrow scope of vision.
