Set in Belgium in 1937, 'The Serpent's Kiss' follows the exploits of American cargo pilot Jack Aimes, a WWI veteran. He captains the 'Black Jack,' a Lockheed Electra, with his fickle co-pilot Travis. While at a local cafe, Jack meets a beautiful waitress named Bluma and the two are instantly infatuated with each other. After his friend Nigel suddenly falls ill, Jack reluctantly agrees to attend an auction in his stead to bid on an old book called the Prose Edda. It turns out he has gotten more than he bargained for after winning with the highest monetary offer. Jack's mundane life spirals quickly out of control into a series of dangerous car chases, shadowy thugs with guns, and ancient mysticism thought long dead.Follow Jack Aimes as he attempts to save Bluma from the clutches of an arcane cult and recover the Prose Edda after being stolen from him. He’ll discover the extent evil men will go in pursuit of their goals and the vulnerability of humankind as dark magic reemerges into the world.
