Red Rover

Could a literal battle of the sexes result in the end of the world? Red Rover is the story of a worldwide pandemic that is set in the town of Valentine, Ontario. The pandemic, the Overton Virus (a.k.a Red Rover), causes the inflicted to suffer severe flu-like symptoms and despise the opposite sex until they lash out violently, dividing families and pitting lover against lover. After the initial bloody outbreak the small town breaks in to two tribes, with the women forming a camp at the Canadian Tire and the men barricading themselves at the Tim Hortons, awaiting a final bloody siege.
