Dreamcatchers filter evil from our dreams, but The Nightmare Catcher can get you killed… After her husband dies in a suspicious accident, Angie Pelletier and her teenage daughter, Lauren, hope to find peace and solace when they move into a century-old house in Northern Maine. Shortly after moving in, though, Angie stumbles upon what looks like an ancient dreamcatcher in the dusty attic. And she doesn’t have a clue that, after centuries of lying dormant, she has now freed the evil side of a long-dead Native American girl’s spirit. But Angie’s not in the dark for long. Almost immediately a succession of weird, frightening occurrences take place in the old house. Scared out of their wits and with nowhere else to turn, Angie and Lauren hope to get help from a local Native American medicine women. She tells them that if the evil spirit is not soon stopped, they or anyone else who comes in contact with it will face certain ruination or even death.
