We vampires don't fear the sun. We walk among you, picking off clueless humans. I, myself, have killed many, good people who were cared about, and people who had no business enjoying life on Earth. I work as a lab technician for a veterinary research facility in Atlanta and keep to myself which helps keep me from standing out. Recently I met a nice girl, Norine, while she was walking her dog and I fell in love, but I keep her ignorant of my true nature. Like a rare heirloom tomato, I see her as worth cultivating rather than eating.When Norine’s house is broken into and the police don’t move on the case fast enough, I leave a trail of bodies taking matters into my own hands which leads me to Mr. C, one of Atlanta’s most ruthless crime lords. Impressed at my bloodthirsty methodology, Mr. C offers me a job, threatening Norine’s safety. Stuck, I’m now a thug-for-hire out to take down Mr. C’s enemies.Gangs struggle to control the same turf, some supplying live, warm bodies for a vampire-controlled mail-order food service. This “service” threatens my Norine’s safety; if I don’t stop the human trafficking, then she may never be safe; and if I do, then vampires all over the South will be out for my blood.
