As a child my grandmother told me many stories about paranormal experiences. She was a believer in superstition, and tried to make a believer out of me as well. Growing up not far from New Orleans, a city where many unknowns occurred and still do today. I myself have had some interesting occurrences. Some of these stories are so far fetched one would have to experience some sort of paranormal activity themselves to become a believer.I decided to compare stories from people in different cultures who either experienced phenomenon themselves or who had been told stories from their family and friends about unexplainable experiences. Are some stories just way too unbelievable? Do the people who tell these tales believe or do they only tell them to pass the time, keep a tradition, or to scare children into good behaviors? You decide, fact or fiction?
