When James moves from the big city to his parents birthplace Pen-Y-Cae in rural Wales, he finds it dull, but pleasant. However, the first friend he makes lives in the next village, just over a mile away. James thinks nothing of this, until he has to walk home alone one night. As the lampposts end the road falls into complete darkness and in the darkness James feels something pulling at his gutt, pulling him towards a lane that runs off the main road. When the pull gets much stronger, he runs all the way to his house. Only to find that when he falls asleep that night, the pull returns and drags him from his body and back towards the lane. He screams and he is pulled back to his room, but not before he sees a group of glowing child-like faces in the lane and when he wakes up covered in cold sweat, he has a visitor. There in the corner of his room stands a black apparition. James is terrified and the figure leaves an air of menace in its' wake. Little does James know that this evil spirit is about to drag him into a confrontation that has lasted centuries. Will a twelve year old boy and some unlikely friends be able to defeat this ancient evil alone or will they join the legion of victims that came before them. Come with me to Coedwig Gwaen Farm and find out!
