‘Blackstone – Rising From the Ashes’ is what I call a 'paranormal love story.' It involves two people who fall in love, even though they have have different philosophical and spiritual beliefs. The road is rocky and filled with bumps and grinds that will eventually lead to some very life changing experiences. The story begins in the big city and ends in the small town of Blackstone. In Blackstone a Pandora's box is opened, and things are never the same after that. There is a stirring in the air. A shadow. A full moon. Then the curtain between now and eternity is torn open. The phoenix is consumed - the phoenix rises. Its ashes lay scattered.

About the Author

James Allison has been writing since the early seventies, mainly poetry and song lyrics. Since 2013 he has been working on a series of novels under the title of Blackstone . His spiritual influences have been Christianity, New Age, New Thought, and Wicca. His mentors can include Stephen King, Anne Rice, Dan Brown and TV shows like The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits. James hails from South Bend, Indiana, California, and now lives in Northern Virginia.
