Quarter Past Midnight

Drawn to a strange flickering light on the opposite shore of the lake, Aaron Latimer discovers the ghost of beautiful, doomed Virginia Dunn. By lantern light, she seeks solace for her own untimely death.Aaron is at his remote Adirondack cabin for work, but vows to use this time alone to mend fences, too: His relationship with his only brother is a disaster and his marriage is collapsing. Aaron knows he's at least partly to blame for both. But the ghost across the lake has bewitched him. Under her spell and against his better judgment, Aaron canoes across the lake to see her - again and again. With each trip, her hold on him grows stronger. Can she bring him wisdom? And, in return, can he give her the one thing that can finally bring her peace? Or has the ghost of Virginia Dunn mesmerized him so completely that Aaron will willingly sacrifice everything he's ever known?
