About the Author

After majoring in Journalism and working in Public Relations for twelve years, I decided to branch out into a career with more creativity. Now, I write about things I see in my dreams in addition to gleaning inspiration from many other books and writers. I've learned to write without apology, and I write what I see in my mind, and not always what I think people want to read about. Some of my favorite books and biggest inspirations have been The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe, the Twilight series, 1984, Brave New World, Alas Babylon, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Divergent, The Great Gatsby, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and the Hunger Games. My favorite all-time writers are J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. While all of these writers greatly inspire me, I also hope to have a fresh and original take on science fiction and fantasy as I merge it with mythology, elements of apocalypse and prophecy
