Otherworlds: Two Eerie One-Act Plays

Two dramas that can be produced as an evening of supernatural stories or as independent short plays. "Meetings in a Wooded Area" time travels to the summer of 1963. A man and woman suffer through the physical, emotional, and spiritual torture of a never-ending service to the demon that controls the destiny of man on earth. The two souls are force to play a cat and mouse game of death with each other and the lives of their mortal encounters as they inadvertently determine what will become history, as we know it."The Bedsitter" takes place on Halloween night, when the veil between worlds is at its thinnest. Carly, Morri and Deara enter an abandoned one-room house to satisfy what they believe is part of a sorority pledge. Unknown to the predestined trio is the fact they may be fulfilling a lifetime service greater than anything they could have ever imagined. Further confusing the girls is the “uncovering” of a mysterious and mystical young woman who guides each through portals to their pasts.
