In the Corners of Our Eyes: and Other Stories

"There are a hundred thousand other worlds before and after our own, and they hide in the corners of our eyes, but people just refuse to see them..." ... In THE LITTLE DOOR, Henry moves into a strange house in a town where the citizens seem like walking corpses. After finding an odd little door at the end of the hall, he is quickly greeted by some very pale, very hungry looking door knockers who are desperate for his help. ... In SKIN, a young boy finds a faceless figure hiding in his bedroom, and the two begin a friendship that is short-lived when it becomes clear that the faceless figure has other intentions. ... The titular novella, IN THE CORNERS OF OUR EYES, follows Ethan, a man on his way to his deceased father's home to clear out the place before it goes up for sale. The father, a renowned artist, has left behind some morbid paintings. A horrible accident leaves Ethan seeing shadow people in his vision, and very quickly it becomes apparent that things are not what they seem. ...Two novellas and four short stories, this is a collection of horrors and fantasies that shed a light on the frightening and magical things that are always lurking, hiding in the corners of our eyes.
