SHREDDED HALLOWEEN - The remake of an OriginalShould you be familiar with the Original ‘SHREDDED – The Darkest side of Jealousy’ (Danish feature film titled FLÆNSET from 2000), you will realize that only about 25% of the original scenes are still in place though these have also been modified and changed substantially.However, the DNA, the red line from the original SHREDDED is still underlining the whole story in this remake of an original.This is the everlasting story of jealousy and power struggles between men and women and how their sexuality, more often than not, are being used in the effort to keep a balance in their relationship.Clearly, things go off balance in SHREDDED HALLOWEEN and unimaginable horrors unfold Halloween Night (- x -)Since its release in 2000 the original ‘SHREDDED – The Darkest side of Jealousy’, has had a continuously growing fan base amongst Horror and Slasher film Aficionados.As the writer and director of SHREDDED, I quickly realized, after its release in 2000, that the film had one major flaw that prevented it from ever appealing to the masses. In my eager to create a universe of Horror and Slasher mixed with the wicked side of the human sexuality, I neglected to properly introduce the characters to the audience.It was action from the get-go, with little insight into the characters and their background stories. Therefore, when the slaughter and madness begins, the audience has no deep connection with any of the characters, making the movie, its story, much more difficult to swallow and cope.So when approaching the remake of SHREDDED, now named SHREDDED HALLOWEEN, I focused a lot of my efforts on introducing the main characters properly and portraying their personalities and background. This work has completely changed the story and the depth of it. I am confident that the audience now will feel a much stronger connection to its characters, hence making the new film much scarier than its older sibling.This is Horror at its finest. About the Author

Film director and writer Heini Grünbaum was born the 1st of September 1966 in Denmark, Europe. He was born with a Royal Robe and had long dark hair. The nurses at the hospital called him (The) Beatles because of the long dark hair. So what is a Royal Robe you might ask? To be born with a Royal Robe, or better known by some as the caul, sometimes referred to as a Bubble boy, means that you get born inside an intact amniotic sac. Some legends suggest that being born with the caul means you will never drown. Heini Grünbaum is also a Freediver, so hopefully, this legend is true ;-) In 2011 film director Heini Grünbaum decided to publish his screenplays and start writing books. His first self-publishing material is a very personal screenplay named PLAN B PARADISE. The film still hasn't materialized into the big screen although the script (original screenplay) is from 2005. Since then he has published a biographical story about his stay in Syria in 1989. The book has been titled: EMBRACED - In Syria with Love Heini Grünbaum also has three other projects in progress.
