The Dumont Legacy

When 21-year-old Jeremy Dumont unexpectedly inherits her grandmother's Los Feliz estate in Los Angeles, instead of the start of a new life of independence from her father and the wealthy Dumont family it's the beginning of a nightmare. The house has a secret past of which she gradually becomes aware. The site of a commune where a murder occurred in 1971, the property is haunted not only by its past but possibly by spirits that remain in residence. As Jeremy delves into the histories of the house and the Dumont family, sinister events and discoveries begin to threaten her security in her new home. Joined by her best friend Austin Resnick and his cat Jones, Jeremy is determined to find a way of honoring her grandmother's bequest. When she meets a young ghost hunter from New Orleans the possibility of unraveling the property's mysteries ramps up, along with her own interest in the ghost hunter. The story of the Los Feliz mansion unfolds switching back and forth in time between the house's 1970 hippie commune and Jeremy's current residency.
