Precipice: The Retrieval - Book Two

Lieutenant Travis Daniels and his soldiers, having just narrowly escaped death from Martian security forces, must race against time to prepare the transport ship for their return to an embattled Earth. Travis will brave the journey through space while his wife, Annie, struggles to keep their son alive. Everyone must do what is necessary to survive while the newly dominant creatures of Earth seek them out, hunting down the last of humanity without prejudice. Travis and his soldiers must land safely and travel the ruined planet, in hopes of finding his family before it's too late.

About the Author

Kevin J. Howard was born in Mission Viejo, California, moved to Seattle at the age of twenty-one, and now lives in Puyallup, Washington. He hand wrote his first novel in the fifth grade and has been writing ever since. His first published novel, Faithful Shadow, is a return to the classic horror novel. Since writing Faithful Shadow he has completed four additional horror novels that will soon be published. Closed Cell will be released in early 2014, and Whirlwind should be released early 2015.
