In the blink of an eye, the world becomes a wasteland governed by fear and anarchy. As a result of the Government’s defaulting in a secret agreement, cities are destroyed; billions are dead and life as once known is no longer the same. In the Cape Cod town of Falmouth, Massachusetts, people have come together aiding each other in survival by establishing community in a gated beach motel. Among those people, a brave group, led by U.S. Marine Corporal Daniel Briggs, risk themselves daily to preserve and protect their community from the nightmarish world that looms outside its gates. Those who are infected have become flesh eating killers craving anything with a pulse while others have become something far beyond human comprehension. Briggs’ team goes outside the gates braving such dangers to search for food, water, supplies and life to return safely to their community; the refuge. Although they’re safe, the question is… how long?
