Haunted by visions of otherworldly horrors, a man by the name of Mitchel, has sat down to write one final letter to his lover, a mysterious woman by the name of Beverley. In the letter, he describes the horrific things that have haunted his dreams since his youth and the events that led him to an institution for the unsane and severely unstable. In his early adolescences, Mitchel stumbled in to a previously inaccessible mansion, but what he found inside was more than he could have ever fathomed. Inside were creatures of unspeakable forms, forms that his human mind couldn't possibly discern. What followed were a series of incomprehensible events, destroying his, already, fragile mind and bringing him to psychiatric imprisonment. Is Mitchel truly deranged, or did he really awaken beasts beyond the scope of the human psyche's cognizance?"Of Cold Mirrors and the Creatures Within" is a tale of cosmic, Lovecraftian horror, told through the lens of a paranoid, distraught and suicidal man, as he writes his love one last time.
