After watching his brother Eli's murder, Ryder wonders what strange creature committed such a terrible act. As the only witness, the 28-year-old falls under suspicion; it doesn't help that he now has new powers because of his contact with this being. Learning about Eli's secret life that is now becoming his own, Ryder begins to follow a path that will change him forever. As his brother's murderer comes for him, he learns that nothing can be gained until everything is lost.

About the Author

Joe Becker is a North Dakota native and attended the University of North Dakota, where he first began writing. December's Children will be the first installment in his upcoming series. When Becker is not writing, he bartends in Fargo, North Dakota.
