In this first installment, Mirrorman and FiveRabbit are becoming aware that they are in a game of spiritual warfare. A global game that has been in play for millennia. Also included are several addenda: an excerpt from El Cuerpo Místico (a book on spiritual discernment), an initial commentary on La Lotería Mística (a method to track the path of demons in the human body), and the text of Father Arifano's Fourth Prayer. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Sombra Martes, along with her younger brother Esteban, spent her childhood summers with their paternal grandmother in northern Oaxaca. Sombra learned the ways of a curandera from her grandmother while Esteban sought out the company of reclusive brujos. Sombra now offers her services as a healer of the body and Esteban offers his services as a spiritual bodyguard. Inspired by her lifelong love of comic books, Sombra decided to write this somewhat fictionalized account of her own and her brother's experiences.
