Spectres of Mara Point: Case 3 of The Numinous Watch

The region around Rivencombe is officially known for its pleasant climate and quaint culture. Unofficially, it is known as one of the most dangerous places on the isle of Albion. Few ever hear of the form such danger takes, however. Generally, all one hears about is the unusual number of unexplained disappearances. Some sites in particular are scrupulously avoided by the locals. Whispers of malign curses and corrupted ground may be overheard in the quiet corners of taverns and hunting lodges. One of these shunned places is known simply as Mara Point.It has been a pleasant summer in Rivencombe for both Kenna and Chloe, enjoying the company of new friends and seeking out the more eldritch dangers of the region. As autumn approaches, the two of them find themselves facing an intriguing proposal. The old house at Mara Point lies empty, and is in need of a caretaker. It seems to be an ideal site for both of these newcomers to put down a few roots. However, houses have a history, and this house's history runs deeper and bloodier than most.
