A turning point in the series. Effie is met with an unforeseen event which leaves her reevaluating her life and the direction she was headed. Damon's pressure for her to stop all involvement into the supernatural and his requests for her to no longer use her psychic abilities is more than she can endure. While Damon visits his mother in Italy, Sam presents a case to Effie that will go against Damon's recent demands and will require her to use her psychic gifts. Effie cant refuse this case and it will be up to her and Sam to save the lives of many children abducted by a crazed lunatic. The use of Franciska to sail to a remote location to find the children is an adventure that will strengthen her powers, strengthen her relationship with Sam and will leave her with a decision she will have no choice but to make; Sam or Damon?
