Takopi's Original Sin

Time travel can't heal all wounds.Cute little alien Takopi lands on Earth. What is his mission? To be taken to our leader? No. To spread happiness throughout the universe! The first person Takopi meets is depressed fourth grader Shizuka. (Or is it…?) Takopi is determined to do whatever it takes to make Shizuka smile again. But his misguided attempts to help her by using his advanced technology to turn back time only result in mayhem and death. What is the truth Takopi can’t remember? About the Author

In September 2020, Taizan5 posted his one-shot manga “Sanka” (Paean) to the webcomic website Jump Rookie! and won the Editors Expectations Award. From December 2021 to March 2022, Takopi’s Original Sin was serialized on Shonen Jump+. The work was the first to receive more than two million views per day on the site. In 2022, Takopi received the 51st Japan Cartoonists Association award in the Manga Kingdom Tottori category. In September of the same year, the Shonen Jump+ app launched the Taizan5 Manga Award, a contest judged by the titular artist. In November of 2022, Taizan5’s series The Ichinose Family’s Deadly Sins began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump.
