Zo and D return to school for senior year happy to see their favorite Watchers have come back. The 'unnaturals' have also returned, and with the light now yellow, the stakes are higher. Zo wields Frozen Fire, Zoran wields Earth, and certain 'unnaturals' have changed their focus from outright murder to kidnapping. But it doesn't make things any better. If the Krag and the Talsin Queen succeed, they all die. But, a team followed Zoran and Jaxa with orders to wreak havoc in their lives, to finish the job. When D and the other Watcher start getting 'close', things get real complicated. As Zo's mental once again comes under attack, her mystery benefactor makes his presence known. But, the gifts he gives only makes Zo question his true motives. During a time when nothing is certain, one thing is. More than one of them won't make it to the end of the school year.
