Z.E.D.S. Wayward Son (Z.E.D.S. Series)

This is the story that was lost amongst the chaos only to be found underneath the aftermath of the war. In the depths of a zombie apocalypse, Atlas faces the demons surrounding his people as well as the demon inside himself. The world has fallen as a new threat comes to search and destroy the Z.E.D.S. Within the story there was a war that tore his world apart. Atlas chronicles the time in which his faith was lost and hope seemed to be a distant dream. Fighting through cannibalistic beings and his own demons, Atlas discovers a threat far greater than what the virus created. A being whose purpose is to see the destruction of the world as well as the fall of the Z.E.D.S.

"Aurora, I'm going to need you to lower your gun as well," Chase said."So, he was the other one that hurt Atlas," Aurora asked.She moved her gun swiftly to Barton."Aurora," I yelled as she pulled the trigger once more.Barton became motionless as the bullet entered his head. Chase stood there and watched as Barton bled.He turned his focus back to Aurora and said, "If you are done, I need you to give me your weapon and take Atlas to Amelia to get patched up."Aurora stood in front of Chase for a moment and behind a faint whisper she said, "Your time is coming."Aurora handed Chase her weapon and walked over to me. Chase began demanding his group to move the bodies to a different location as we passed him. "I need all of your weapons as well," Chase said to my people. Aurora looked at me while I struggled to walk, and I saw the red tint in her eyes becoming darker. It sent shivers down my spine as I remembered that Chase also had the same coloring of his retinas.

My dad sat next to me, gripping my hand as a slight tear came from his eyes. Something was bothering him."What is it dad," I asked.He patted my knee before he reached into his pocket and pulled out his old white bandanna. As it unfolded blood was splattered in multiple spots. I looked back at his face and more tears began to stream from his eyes."What's going on," I asked.After a deep breath he answered. "I'm dying son."

About the Author

A father, a nerd, and always lost in his imagination would be the perfect words to describe the author. Works full time and writes in his spare. Has 2 books under his belt and has already started on the third/last installment to the Z.E.D.S. series. Be prepared because the end is coming.
