The Ice Hunt

FOURTH IN THE SERIES. a young Inuit hunter encounters the largest polar bear ever seen. Attacked and left for dead, he survives. His discovery starts a chain reaction of bad decisions, impulsiveness, terror and revenge. Terry Shannon's new girlfirend, Kat Ascuda, a wildlife photographer, asks him to accompany her to the Arctic Circle to document a ruthless hunter going after the perfect specimen. He agrees, assuming supernatural threats can't possibly exist in that frozen, ice-bound world. He's wrong. The death tolls starts well before the 14 foot tall monster thunders into their camp, destroying everything in its wake. Stranded on the ice, their skidoos, radio and provisions torn to pieces, Terry, Kat and the Inuit boy that first saw the bear are put to the test, trying to survive 60 miles from the nearest help. The hunter gets his trophy, unaware of the gruesome price that comes with it. The great bear's spirit rises with murder on its mind. It surges after everyone connected to the hunt. Time and distance mean nothing to it. It follows al of them back to Manhattan, where it begins hunting them down, one by one. Don't get too close to the snow.
