Arkadia The Dark Mist Legend

The desperate cries of the oracles echo through the land, calling for a savior to free the world of Arkadia from the clutches of the deceitful and malicious Dark Lord who has been spreading chaos and destruction everywhere. In this time of great peril, a young Druid has emerged who must use her mystical powers to unravel the secrets of the ancient prophecies and find a cure for the deadly affliction that has consumed her world. The fate of Arkadia rests on her shoulders as she embarks on a perilous journey to face her darkest fears and confront the evil that threatens to engulf everything she holds dear.We embarked on a perilous journey through the heart of the city, our hearts pounding with anticipation and fear. Rumors had been circulating that the Dark Lord could be summoned there, and we were determined to reach him.As we walked, an inexplicable sensation stirred within me, a mix of exhilaration and dread. Suddenly, without warning, I sprinted towards Belialz’s side, wielding my father’s scimitar. Adonys followed suit, his weapon at the ready. Together, we charged toward the demon, our combined efforts aimed at aiding Belialz in his courageous battle against the fearsome creature. But despite our best efforts, we were no match for the Paladin’s incredible might. As Luna led me to the battle site, the ground beneath my feet was uneven and treacherous. The scent of blood and sweat filled my nostrils as I caught sight of Belialz collapsing onto the ground. My heart raced with fear, and I quickly rushed to his aid, hoping to find a way to save him. As I tried to heal his wounds, I could feel the warmth of his skin against my fingers and the damp earth under my legs. The techniques taught to me by Moonstar were my only hope, and I focused all my energies on them. But my mind was still troubled with many unanswered questions, and I yearned to find the love that had always eluded me.As I anxiously awaited answers, Athinia’s voice cut through the silence, and she began to explain the significance of my presence. She revealed that Steve had sent me to hear her story for a reason, and I couldn’t help but wonder what that reason was. The sky was slowly transitioning from dark to light, and the first rays of the sun were beginning to peek over the horizon, casting a warm glow over the tranquil sea. Athinia’s eyes followed my gaze, and I noticed the silhouette of three figures emerging from behind the small cottage. It was Belialz, Luna, and Adonys, and their arrival only added to the sense of mystery and intrigue that hung in the air. When I used magic to find my true love, I had no idea that it would lead to disastrous consequences. Belialz informed Sofie that she had created a rift between our worlds, and Athinia begged me to aid in the fight against the new evil that had emerged. She saw a special gift in me: the ability to bring life to both worlds. As I lowered my gaze toward the ground beneath my feet, I couldn’t help but notice the subtle changes that were occurring with each step I took. The earth seemed to come alive as if responding to my presence, and I saw the grass beneath my feet begin to stir. It was then that I saw a burst of colors as beautiful, vibrant flowers began sprouting out of the ground all around me. They were different shades of pink, purple, and yellow, and their petals seemed to dance in the gentle breeze that swept through the meadow. For a moment, I was lost in the beauty of this magical place, but then I remembered that our journey was far from over. The rift between our worlds had awakened the Dark Lord of the Mist, a malevolent entity that had been sleeping for centuries. He was a creature of darkness with an unrivaled lust for power and control. He sought to claim what his brother, the rightful heir to the throne, desired most and would stop at nothing to achieve his goal.

About the Author

I was born in Canon City, Colorado, to Irish/Scottish parents, grew up in Canon City and Texas, now living in Florida for the last eleven years. My first book, "Arkadia a Druid's Tale," was published on March 1st, 2010. I love to write since I was 14 years of age but never thought myself good enough. When I met a man that encouraged me to fulfill my dreams at the age of 32 and still encourages me to move forward with my new works of art. Now I have the sequel to Arkadia and two others published. I hope you all will enjoy them. When I'm asked if I write about myself, I have to sit back and try not to laugh. I was told that since my characters carry my pen name that my readers think it is about me.The truth is, I write under my characters' name since she is the one who is really writing the book. I'm just her instrument of use. The one that allows her to write through me. Now you might think I'm crazy, but I can assure you, I'm just as sane as everyone else. I don't want people to know my real name. Those who do already think I have lost my ever-loving mind.My family seems to think I should write successful conclusions, where the hero or heroine lives happily ever after. Yet that is not me. I want to write about good/evil, happiness/devastation. I want it where my readers are crying with the characters when they are happy or sad. I want them to want to do murder when the bad guy is out to harm another. I want my readers to cheer when the characters finally have a happy time and things have gone their way. That is who I am. The kind of writer I want to be. So yes I hide behind my main character. I use her to keep me safe.
