Freeland

While traveling on assignment in rural Idaho to cover a news story for The Idaho Statesman, Stan Blankenship has been irresistibly drawn to Freeland, an isolated village tucked away in eastern Oregon. Now his soul is ensnared and he has been forced by Sari the ancient African shaman to live and work there as the editor of The Freeland Reporter. It’s a strange little town filled with magic and murder. As Stan comes to understand, people may drive into Freeland but they don’t drive out.
