When the Montagues bring their only son back from the dead, they had not imagined how they would exacerbate the tensions between them and the Capulets. Verona's paranormal residents encourage the young lovers in their exploration of the boundaries of life, death and identity, while the city struggles to remain tolerant in the face of terror. Poetry, romance, and comedy abound, while the words of the Bard take on new meaning through the lens of contemporary zombie culture, and both emerge changed from the experience. A parodic commentary on Shakespeare's play, Romeo and Juliet and Zombies will be best enjoyed by all those who know an iamb from a dactyl and can tell a lich from a lycan.
