Alice: Gateway to Evil

Can the essence of evil invade our world through a simple Ouija board? In New York City, a sixteen-year-old girl named Alice has become possessed by demons. Alice's father, Dr. O'Doyle, calls in Ken Darby, a psychiatrist, who suspects that Alice may be in the early stages of a mental disorder. Alice's grandmother knows better, and calls in her parish priest, Father Robert. While the entire family and Ken band together to try to help Alice, the demon insists on facing his long-term nemesis, Father Seamus, from Ireland. When Father Seamus and Sister Mary, both experienced in exorcism, combine with Father Robert and the family, a two-month battle for Alice's soul and very life ensues. Just when good appears to be triumphing over evil, a new demon possesses Alice. And Alice's friend and fellow Ouija board user Delilah descends into her own hellish existence. Can Alice be saved? Can Alice and Delilah ever recover their long-term friendship? Can demons, once invited into our world, ever be completely vanquished? A page-turning thriller that addresses the essential issues of good vs. evil and importance of faith vs. doubt, Alice: Gateway to Evil sets up these age-old conflicts in a very modern 21st-century story
