Gina Daniels has to learn to control her temper, but she also has to learn that she is a troll, how to control that aspect of herself, and she has to learn that the monsters are not exactly accepted by the Heroes. She has a lot to learn! And where can she best learn all of this? At Echidna's school for monsters, of course! There she will learn how to squeeze chickens to control her strength, face mimicry, and maze navigation, but above all else how to accept the lesson: perfect isn't pretty.
From the Back Cover
Gina Daniels' life was going . . . well, not great. After kind of attacking a major pain in her side, she was expelled, only to go home and find out there was a reason she was so angry all the time. She is a troll! Yep, with the humongous body and everything! So where does her loving father send her? To Echidna's school for monsters. Hey, she has to admit, she fits in better there with a gorgon girl, vampire boy, werewolf boy, and dragon girl and the hundred headed school security, so hey, yeah, life's getting better for her. But then Gina finds out monsters are not alone. You know all those heroes from myths, for example Hercules? Well, turns out he hates Gina, and all of monsterkind, and he has a school with a bunch of little Heroes who are learning how to destroy them. Well, they want to wipe monsters off the face of the planet. Just an average day for a troll girl who can grow to massive proportions when she's angry.
