In the wilds of Texas, La Loba runs at night. She has healing powers and an attitude toward abusers of children. By day, she is Sergeant Riley Redd, a Dallas homicide detective. He claims they are the same. She delays killing him, hoping to prove him wrong, and learns more than she ever wanted to know.
